Directed by: Andrew V. McLaglen

Synopsis: War adventure based on true events. In India in 1943, a mission is undertaken to stop the destruction of Allied shipping by Nazi U-boats receiving leaked shipping information. This info is known to be sent out from a secret radio transmitter aboard the 'Ehrenfels', one of three German ships anchored in the Portugese port of Mormugoa. As the port is in neutral Portuguese waters, no official forces can be involved, and so Lieutenant-Colonel Lewis Pugh hatches a plot to sabotage the German boats using civilians. He duly recruits The Calcutta Light Horse, a part-time territorial unit of former British soldiers who are now middle-aged businessmen based in Calcutta. They journey to Goa, where, aiming to destroy all three German ships, they will pose as tourists on an innocent sailing trip whose nighttime boarding of the 'Ehrenfels' is supposedly nothing more than a drunken lark.
